Artist statement

Allie Joyis a UK-based transdisciplinary artist whose practice explores the dynamic intersections between inner and outer landscapes. Working across watercolour, installation, and moving image, she develops abstract cartographies as acts of navigation through direct engagement with landscape, botany, and natural materials. Developed through travel and site-responsive processes, her work traces relationships between place, movement, memory, and storytelling.

Alongside her artistic practice, Allie is the co-founder of Syntropy, a wellbeing app combining digital art and music to support breathwork, meditation, and emotional regulation.

She is also the creator of Routes, an online guided map-making journey designed to support people through periods of personal and creative transition.
