Building a fern labryinth

inpsired in costa rica, built in the shropshire

- using fallen pine and beech trees-

The start

Created a hexagon inspired by the benzene ring molecule (which is a foundation of all plant life)

Creating the fronds

This is about 20 meters long so very challenging to fit in the whole thing!

Left image: Hexagon entry point (and return in which you can choose a different exit point)

Right image: The start of fronds (three each side) snaking into the gametophyte stage.

Left image: the gametophyte stage circles around to the center.

Right image: The spore, the eye, the fern - the representation of the whole journey.

Assessing wood sizes and how many I need to create the entry points.
