‘The Art of Pilgrimage’ currently exhibiting at The Willow Gallery in Oswestry, UK.

Atlas fern

I have travelled across South and Central America via a series of art residencies for the project ‘The Art of Pilgrimage’.

You can read about the details of where and what I got up to on my travel blog, at the end of each artist residency I share my process of the art.

This project is a follow-on from Routes, which is where I discovered a process of creating maps for personal guidance.

If you are interested in following my journey then you can follow my dedicated Instagram @Routesbyalliejoy.

I am always looking for a space to create and co-create with the land and community.
